Blizzard is returning to Gamescom! Maybe one of the surprises will be a console release. They're have been an uptick in rumors regarding a console release.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a console release of World of Warcraft at this point! I think if there was an any better time to bring the game to consoles, now is that time! Honestly it would have been cool to see last year for the game's 20th anniversary.
