Looks like the blue blur is next on the list to get cards in the popular trading card game, Magic the Gathering. Recently Square Enix collaborated with Wizards to make cards based around various Final Fantasy characters. So it's cool to see them reach out and collaborate with Sonic! Now I'm definitely invested in Magic lol, I'm a huge Sonic nerd and will definitely be trying my hardest to get these cards when they drop since they're going to come out in limited quantities! https://magic.wizards.com/en/news/announcements/secret-lair-the-sonic-superdrop

Not big into cards, but some of these designs are pretty cool. I like it when companies do collaborations. Can these be used in actual competition or are they just collector's cards?

I believe they can be used in an actual competition, similar to the Final Fantasy cards they dropped not too long ago. I think it's really cool Magic has been collaborating with video games lately. I want to get the character set but man I want those three cards too so I might try to get that set as well. I'm off work the day they drop so I'm going to be on my computer refreshing the page as much as possible to try and snag these up.
