PlayStation Will Now Let You Trade In Your Platinum Trophies For Real-Life Merchandise (1 Viewer)

If you have unlocked Tsushima's Mono No Aware trophy, which is one of the game's gold trophies, you can buy an exclusive t-shirt from the same page, which costs $30. Yes, unlike Nintendo's points program, you will still have to pay for these unlocked rewards. The point is that only those with the respective trophies can buy the pin and the t-shirt, meaning you can flaunt your unlocks out in the real world, and those familiar with Tsushima and the Ghost Rewards program who see you will know you're a Gud Gamer™.
If you have unlocked those Tsushima trophies or you unlock them before the end of 2025, you have until January 30, 2026, to place pre-orders for the pin and the t-shirt. Tsushima won't be the only game added to this program either, as PlayStation has already confirmed that Ghost of Yotei will also be a part of the same program, presumably with its rewards, and which trophies you'll need to unlock to earn the right to buy them, being revealed at a later date.

More reward options isn't necessarily a bad thing. It would be nice if they were free like Nintendo's reward program. I think they should include a free reward of some type for earning platinum in a game, that would encourage more play time.
