Breakout hit Megabonk sells more than a million copies on Steam

The sales figures show a continued appetite for games in the vein of Vampire Survivors

Developer Vedinad has announced that the quirkily titled Megabonk has sold more than a million on Steam, proving that there's still a healthy appetite for rogue-like survival games in the mould of Vampire Survivors.

Vedinad announced the news on X, saying that the milestone was achieved in two weeks.

According to Video Game Insights (VGI), Megabonk has sold an estimated 1.3 million units, and has achieved a peak player count on Steam of over 117,000.

Anyone here playing this? Looks like Risk of Rain meets Vampire Survivors. I'm not too big into roguelikes but this looks fun.

This is the first time I am hearing of this game, but I have to admit, it does look like it could be a very fun game to jump into.

I love any game that has some kind of challenge, and this game looks to have the kind of challenges as you progress that would keep me playing.

Have added it to my wishlist!
