Sony releases a big new update for the PS Portal, refreshing the UI on the Home Screen while also adding a bunch of new features including Cloud Streaming. The PlayStation handheld continues to grow and add new features to better support how players utilize the Portal.

While not quite a standalone handheld gaming device like the Steam Deck or even the Nintendo Switch 2, Sony's PlayStation Portal is proving to be more than just a simple PS5 accessory. As the PS Portal approaches its second anniversary, Sony has continued to improve and expand the available features that it offers, with the latest update being one of its biggest and most anticipated yet.

Cloud streaming should have been available day one. Would be much more successful imo, but glad it's here now.
