How do you make healthy eating more affordable? (1 Viewer)

Honestly, I just buy stuff in bulk and stick to basics. Rice, beans, veggies from the local market. It's way cheaper than using the supermarkets. I've noticed cooking at home saves me way more than eating out, even if it's healthy fast food. Do you guys also find local markets better than big stores?

Healthy eating is not more expensive then non-healthy alternatives. Its just that most people don't want to put in the work to make healthy meals. Grocery shopping, cooking, planning it out, etc.

I get that very well because when you cook at home, it really saves you more in the long run. Bofore now, my thoughts was that eating healthy meant spending way more money, but once I have turned to buying produce at local markets, it cut my costs significantly.

I have always supported local businesses as they tend to offer a lot more and better quality food compared to supermarkets, which tend to offer little, lower-quality, and usually cost more.

I find that when it comes to healthy eating and wanting to make it affordable, buying plenty of vegetables and even things such as beans and rice helps a lot in making healthy meals that are filling and affordable.
