Foreign Language Films (1 Viewer)

How often do you watch foreign language films. Well, 99 percent of movies I watch are actually foreign language movies. I watch a lot of English movies, and English is basically a foreign language for me. I rarely watch local language films even though our movie industry is getting better and they are producing good movies that are being recognized internationally.

I have a very difficult time watching foreign language films. I like to follow people's mouths when they talk and it just didn't work for me when another language is slapped on top of them.

I watch foreign language films with subtitles. If you have difficulty in following subtitles, you can also watch dubbed version.

I actually love foreign films. Korean thrillers, Japanese anime movies, and even the Spanish dramas. I use the subtitles to understand when I'm watching them. Most of their movies are way better in terms of storytelling than Hollywood.

Same here, foreign films have a special charm. I love Korean thrillers especially. When I watched Oldboy for the first time, I was so messmerrized. I couldn't imagine such a film could be as interesting. Hollywood is fun for blockbusters, but their storytelling isn't as deep as the ones from other countries.

I can't say I watch foreign language films often at all, and I can't remember the last time I watched a foreign movie.

Whenever I have watched a foreign movie, though, I tend to watch it in that language but have subtitles to get the full effect.
