"From the moment the console powers on and the DualSense controller lights up, that signature blue glow signals the start of something special. It's the spark that draws you into new worlds and immersive gameplay. Inspired by PlayStation's iconic shades of blue, this design captures the feeling of anticipation and wonder every time you pick up the controller. As a nod to our origins, we added Katakana characters on the back that spell our name the Japanese way: Pureisutēshon."

Starting on October 20 in the U.S. and Canada, October 28 in Mexico and Chile, the DualSense wireless controller – Icon Blue Special Edition will be available for a recommended retailer price (RRP) of $84.99 USD / $109.99 CAD / $1,899 MXN / $93,490 CLP at Walmart locations in these regions as well as on Walmart's official site.

This Icon Blue controller looks absolutely fantastic. But I got too many controllers already....Plus I'm not spending $85 on a new controller.

I will admit, the controller does look really good, but unless you are someone who collects different controllers or even needs a new controller, many may not bother.

I guess it is a good controller to put on your wishlist should you ever want to upgrade or need a new one in the future.

I have 5 different Xbox controllers and 2 different PS5 controllers. The only reason I collected the additional Xbox controllers is because I get them for around $30-35 a piece when they go on sale. Plus it's nice being able to swap controllers when one dies in the middle of a game or you have more friends over.

I'm definitely getting priced out with these inflated prices.

I can only imagine the inflated prices at the moment in terms of controllers, but I do agree, when you are mid-game and your controller dies, it's a pain having to rush to change out the battery, so switching to another controller that is charged is the better option.
