Do You Think Virtual Reality Gaming Is the Future? (1 Viewer)

VR is actually taking gaming to the next level. but I still doubt if it's truly the future or just one expensive hobby. I've tried it a few times and it's very immersive. One horror game almost made me shout and jump out of the window. 🤣 But the gear a little pricey and it's even heavier. Do you think that VR is the future of gaming?

No, not until we get better games to take advantage of the hardware and make it a bit more accessible. Half Life: Alyx still is the best game on VR and that came out 5 years ago. We need new experiences.

I don't think VR, at least in the way we currently envision it, will ever become "the future of gaming". People just want to sit down and play a video game without having to turn their living room into a theme park attraction. While VR can be a fun addition to one's gaming experience, it will never fully replace the act of sitting in front of a TV with a controller and just playing a game like usual.
