Do you still have a MP3 Player? (1 Viewer)

I work in an office at a bank, so we can't use our phones when we're in the office for security reasons. We are allowed to listen to our own music, via the radio or a MP3 player as long as you don't use bluetooth. Therefore I do have a MP3 player, I unfortunately lost the one I've been using since Christmas but I have a new one coming in hopefully by today. I have another one I was using before I got the one for Christmas but the build quality wasn't as good and it only played audio in mono and not stereo so lots of songs didn't sound good. Anyways do you still have a MP3 player or do you just listen to music on your phone or computer?

Sadly, no.

But have you heard of Rockbox?

You can basically revive any old MP3 player with new features. I was debating buying an old Apple iPod off eBay to try it out.
Oh that's cool I never heard of it until now! Since I have one of those lower end "welcome" MP3 players I don't think it'd work with that lol. This is a great way to breathe new life into old tech though, reminds me of installing smaller Linux installations on older computers so you can still use them.

I used to have it but not anymore. The emergence of smartphones and streaming apps like Spotify and Bluetooth portable speakers, I can do without an MP3 player

I don't have a mp3 player anymore, nor an Ipod. I haven't had any since mine broke a few years ago. I'd love to own one again though. I loved my iPod.

Unfortunately, I no longer have an MP3 player after mine damaged some years back. Also for the fact I can easily stream songs on Spotify makes me not to worry about getting a new MP3 player.

I remember having many MP3 players in the past but nowadays, I don't have them anymore due to them breaking or just ending up losing them when moving house.

I still remember the last MP3 player I had very well. I am so glad that we have options such as Spotify and Amazon Music now. I always remember how much you had to go through to load your MP3 player with MP3s 🙂

These days, I just use a CD player or a an audio cassette player. I have a lot of music on CD, as well as some mixtapes recorded on audio cassette.

As for an MP3 player, I haven't really used mine since high school, it's just sitting in my desk drawer taking up space currently. Might be cool to take it out for a spin, but I don't see myself using it over physical media or my smartphone any time soon.
