I can't quite put my finger on it, but for me the PS5 was/is a disappointing console. I picked mine up shortly after the initial shortage - I was working two jobs at the time during / just after COVID and decided to treat myself.
Over the years I've had it, I've still continued to play both my PS4 and even my PS3 with more consistency than the PS5. Everything about it just seems to have failed to impress, apart from the DualSense controller which its effectiveness tends to vary from game to game.
Perhaps I just haven't played any really new AAA titles to be blown away by the graphics yet? My backlog is quite substantial (well over 1000 games), but I'm going to give the Silent Hill 2 remake a shot, since it's just arrived on Plus..
I'd be intrigued to know if anyone feels the same?
