Your favourite childhood game? (1 Viewer)

As someone who has been a gamer from 3 years old, I have many memories of playing video games with my brothers, my cousin and also my mum and dad over the years.

One memory that stands out for me is when my mum bought me and my brothers Yoshi's Island for the Super Nintendo. This game I absolutely loved, and it became my favourite game growing up. The reason why it is such a big memory to me is because my mum would join me and my brothers and would play with us and help us through the levels of Yoshi's Island.

What is your favourite childhood game? Do you still play this game today?

I would say my favorite childhood game was Pokemon. Platinum if we're being specific. I had so many hours in that game.

I also played SWTOR religiously in middle school/early high school.

Mine was probably Super Mario 64. I Spent countless hours just running around Peach's castle, doing triple jumps for no reason. The freedom of 3D movement was mind-blowing back then.

There are so many video games that were my favourite as a kid growing. It's going to be very difficult to list all of them because they are too many. But if I'm going to list only one, I'll definitely go with The Punisher on my Sega Genesis.

Mine was without a doubt Yoshi's Island. I loved spending time playing this game on the Super Nintendo. Some memories I have are with my mum and brothers playing this game and taking it in turns 🙂

That's such a nice story! I am glad you had fun playing Yoshi's Island with your family, especially with your mother. Wonderful to hear!

For me, my favorite childhood game is Paper Mario on the Nintendo 64. I played it with my brother and cousins, but what is particularly special to me is how my grandmother would be with me as I played it. She lived with my brother and I growing up, so she would always be with us when we were playing games or watching TV. Paper Mario on N64 makes me think of her to this day, so it's a special experience for me when I play it.

This thread brings me back to the good old days, when we had no responsibility in our head..For me, it has to be "Police and Thief." That game carried my whole childhood, honestly. We'd run around the whole compound acting like action movie stars. I remembered that I used to call myself Rambo.🤣

Those who live in Africa would remember."Ten-Ten." I don't even know why it was so fun but once everybody gathered, you'd just forget everything. The rhythm, the claps, the laughs is always interesting. By the time we started, we never wanted to end it until our parents started chasing us with a cane.🤣
