I think Xbox is going to try to go after the high end PC market. It makes sense after their recent movies like the handheld and rumors of them adding Steam to the Xbox. If they can give us a console that's in the same league as high end PC's that's more affordable (still won't be cheap), then I can see this going well. I've always wanted Steam on a console, and if Microsoft delivers that'll be a game changer. I think this is the only way they can compete with PlayStation at this point.

Yeah, Microsoft is gonna have to play a different game with Xbox than the Xbox One to Xbox Series road trip we've been on since 2013. I could see a more PC-like Xbox aimed at console players who want the opportunities of PC gaming being a good idea. That's gonna require some top-notch marketing though, could be tough to make consumer understand the value of such a platform.

I also wouldn't mind Xbox going third-party either, would be really cool to get stuff like Halo on Nintendo Switch 2. Currently my friend and I are still busting out the Xbox 360 if we want to play Halo splitscreen co-op, because we definitely don't want an Xbox One or Series.

Xbox is cooked. They're purposely trying to kill it off. I'm convinced.

It is becoming worrying that Xbox went from being a console and company that made gaming affordable for everyone, to now going ahead and increasing the prices of Game Pass to something they should never be, and selling consoles for $1000 or more.

Xbox management has proven they have no clear path forward and their recent decisions have been worse than horrible. I would rather avoid having to anything to do with a next gen console made by them.
