Most of us have found ourselves falling back to a particular game over and over again, either because we love the plot/storyline behind the game, or we simply enjoy the gameplay experience, and before we know it, we get addicted to it. From your personal experience, what actually makes a game addictive?

There are several things that make a game addictive, but the one at the top of my mind is the progression. Once a game gives you rewards consistently, you won't even know when hours would pass. Trust me, if you are a gamer, you should know what I'm talking about..

It's a routine for me. If I found a game that managed to be part of my schedule or daily activities, then I would be so addicted. Once a game becomes part of your daily habit, like logging in to claim something or finish quests, it gets addictive. Your brain just wants to complete one more thing.
