Wow, I did not think I would be writing about SouljaBoy again! This craze started over 6 years ago in 2018 when SouljaBoy started white-labelling Chinese retro handhelds as his own with an extravagant premium price tag.

Basically, dropshipping retro handhelds as his own, with his own brand and name slapped on top for triple the price.

He then partnered with a company known as TRDR to whitelabel the old, original Retroid Pocket with "AI" assistants back in 2021. I called the company out for this, hopped on a call with them and was even shamed by SouljaBoy himself in 2021.

I didn't know about this. This is not any kind of official licensing deal. He does not have permission to rebrand our products and sell them as his own. The Retroid Pocket Flip 2 is patented in the U.S by ourselves". - Official Retroid Team

He tried this back in 2018 selling a Chinese knock Xbox Series S. Hopefully no one is stupid enough to buy this.
