Favorite Place To Go For Coffee? (1 Viewer)

When you want to go out for coffee, where do you like to go? A second-wave place like Starbucks, some third-wave local coffee shop, or somewhere else entirely like a gas station?

Myself, I like to go to Starbucks and hang out there while I drink my coffee, enjoying the "third place" environment. It's a nice spot to just get out of the house for a bit, do a bit of browsing/posting on altBoards, and maybe read a book or play my Switch 2 for a while. It's nice to just interact with the people there, and Starbucks has been making a lot of improvements lately to return to their roots of being the "third place".

Aside from that, my friend and I like to walk down a nearby nature trail that lets you out right at Dunkin'. We grab coffee, then head back to his house which is near an exit to the trailway, spending the afternoon watching Smiling Friends and having Pokémon battles!

I'm not particularly fussy, honestly. They all taste much the same to me ☕

I think Starbucks tend to have better seasonal coffees over Costa, though.

I never used to be able to drink coffee, but since I decided to try different ones and even ones I made at home with coffee syrup, I tend to drink coffee every so often now.

My favourite place would have to be Costa for their coffee and coffee drinks. Starbucks is good, but I find it to be expensive.

I've never heard of Costa, seems that they don't have any locations near me. Sounds good though! As for Starbucks, yeah it's definitely pricey, not an everyday visit for sure. I usually just go once or twice on the weekend, and even then, I'm not really going for the coffee alone.

I sometimes buy the Starbucks Frappuccino drinks that you can buy in stores whenever I fancy a coffee. These are the ones I don't mind, and if I find them to be a little too bitter, I add some coffee syrup and I'm good to go 🙂

I've actually never had a Frappuccino, usually I avoid anything beyond black coffee because I have several severe food allergies, including one to cow's milk. The Frappuccino sounds pretty good though!

In fact, I remember first trying Starbucks because of a ridiculous Newgrounds animation from 2003. Now I go almost every weekend!
