Arc Raiders Server Slam is Blowing Up on Steam

ARC Raiders' Server Slam open beta is off to a tremendous start on Steam, with tons of players turning out to give the game a whirl.

RC Raiders' Server Slam Open Beta is intended to test the servers' capacity, and the developer seems to be getting exactly what it wanted in that regard. Though the beta launched less than 24 hours prior to publication time, the title has already experienced a peak of over 189,000 players checking out the game, just on Steam. Since that peak, the number has dropped somewhat to 169,000, but it's likely that it could surge past its record during the course of the weekend, when more players have free time to hop in. The beta will run through October 19, and is free to participate in, so interested players shouldn't miss this opportunity to see what it's all about.

I'm very glad that Tarkov is getting some much needed competition. Not a huge fan of extraction shooters, but may give this one a try this weekend.

I have seen a few streamers playing this over the past few days, and they seemed to be really enjoying it 🙂

I have yet to try it, but I do enjoy extraction shooters, so this one very much seems to be right up my street when it comes to new video games to play.

It's only blowing up because it's free. That said, I've been meaning to try it out. I'd love to hear from someone here who's already played it and what you'd compare it to.
